Hi, I'm Dawn. I'm glad you're here.
Choosing someone to come into your home is personal, and you deserve to know exactly who you're trusting with your care.
I'm a Florida Registered Nurse providing private in-home nursing and senior foot care throughout Washington, Holmes, and Jackson Counties. With more than 20 years of experience in hospice, critical care, acute care, and school health, I bring calm clinical judgment, genuine compassion, and a prevention-focused approach to every visit.
I started Nurse Dawn because I wanted to practice nursing differently. I wanted to slow down, build real relationships, and provide the kind of one-on-one care that has become harder to find. Care where people feel heard, respected, and never rushed.
My goal is simple: to help people stay safe, comfortable, confident, and as independent as possible in their own homes. Every visit is personal, every plan is individualized, and you'll always know the registered nurse walking through your door is me.
When I'm not caring for clients, I’m a wife, mom, and author of the children’s book series Nurse Dawn Doesn’t Do Drama, which uses humor and empathy to teach health lessons to kids and families.
I believe good nursing starts with listening, education, compassion, and sometimes even a little humor.
