Do you accept insurance?

No, Nurse Dawn, LLC is a private-pay service. This allows me to give clients personalized care without insurance restrictions. You can request a receipt for HSA/FSA or reimbursement purposes.

Where do you provide services?

I currently serve clients within Washington, Holmes, and Jackson Counties, Florida. Visits beyond 35 miles from Chipley may include a small travel fee.

What types of services do you offer?

I provide in-home nursing care including foot care, wound care, medication setup, wellness checks, illness and post-op support, injection support and palliative-style support. I also offer educational resources and wellness guidance under the Florida RN scope of practice.

Do you replace my doctor or home health agency?

No. I complement your existing healthcare team. I don’t replace your provider, prescribe medication, or operate under insurance billing. I help you manage your health between visits — safely and independently.

How do I schedule an appointment?

You can schedule directly through my Square booking link or contact me by phone or email. A “Book Now” button is available throughout the site for convenience.

What forms of payment do you accept?

I accept credit/debit cards via Square, digital payments, and cash.

Can I book for a family member?

Yes. Family members or caregivers may schedule on behalf of clients as long as consent and contact information are provided.

What’s your cancellation policy?

Please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance. Same-day cancellations or no-shows incur a $35 fee and may require deposits before scheduling another appointment.

Do you provide emergency or on-call services?

No. I’m not an emergency provider. For urgent or life-threatening issues, call 911 or visit your nearest emergency department.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. I’m a licensed registered nurse in the state of Florida, operating under the Florida Board of Nursing with professional liability insurance coverage.

Why do wound care visits require a doctor’s order and my own supplies?

Wound care must be performed under active MD orders to stay within nursing scope and ensure safe, appropriate treatment. I use your prescribed supplies to keep care consistent with your provider’s plan and to prevent product reactions or delays in healing.

I bring the skill, documentation, and follow-up — you provide the doctor’s orders and supplies.

What’s the difference between palliative support and hospice care?

Hospice care is for clients in the final stage of life, while palliative-style support is for anyone living with chronic illness, pain, or decline who still wants active, comfortable living. My visits focus on comfort, symptom relief, and caregiver education — not diagnosing or prescribing. It’s the bridge between “doing it all alone” and “not needing hospice yet.”  It’s real care for real life — comfort, clarity, and peace of mind without the chaos.

After almost two decades in traditional healthcare, I was done watching people fall through the cracks. Between burnout, red tape, and rushed care, I knew there had to be a better way. Nurse Dawn, LLC was built to bring nursing back to what it’s supposed to be — personal, honest, and hands-on.

Do you design all the merch yourself?
Most of it, yes. I make sure it’s bold, wearable, and something I’d actually rock myself. If it doesn’t pass the Nurse Dawn vibe check, it doesn’t get printed.

Where is the merch made and shipped from?
Print-on-demand, made in the U.S. or close by depending on the item. When available, I strive to choose items made in USA. You’ll get tracking as soon as it ships.

Do you accept returns or exchanges?
Because each item is custom printed just for you, all sales are final. But if something arrives messed up, let me know ASAP and I’ll help you fix it.

Can I buy merch locally?
No, not at this time.
